Over the past year, Norwegian operations have grown rapidly; several new Norwegian customers have come on board and the local Norwegian organization has grown, and needs to grow further.

A number of Norwegian digital e-commerce projects were started during the year, and several have been launched. Two of the most recent go-lives are Vita, and Barnas Hus, a retailer specializing in clothing and accessories for children and babies.

Several of the leading e-commerce and omnichannel players in Scandinavia are customers to Avensia; NA-KD, Kjell & Company, Lyko and Indiska are just a few. In Norway, Avensia have helped Moelven, a wood products company to future-proof the digital strategy and implement a solution for product data management, and built a complete solution for information management for fruit and veg wholesaler Bama.

Avensia's experts are also working with Byggtjeneste to build a completely new digital platform for product information for the construction industry (NOBB). Another customer is Coop Norway. When the corona pandemic hit during spring, Avensia could build an e-commerce with home delivery of food in record time, thanks to a very experienced development team and the packaged platform for modern digital commerce.

- We have had Norwegian customers for many years, but have strengthened our local presence over the past two years, says Niklas Johnsson, CEO of Avensia.

- It's fantastic to see what an impact being established locally has had. We gained many new customers in 2020, some projects have already gone live and others are in the pipeline for 2021.

Megaflis and Kid Interiør are two of the newest Norwegian projects. Several new employees are now working in Oslo, and the team will keep on growing to meet the increased demand with additional local competence.
