Avensia Presents Best Practice Platform for EPiServer Commerce
With experience from numerous successful e-commerce projects Avensia has created a new framework for Episerver Commerce. Thousands of hours of development has built a foundation for Avensia EPICS. It is a best practice platform that improves quality, reduces risk and optimizes projects for implementation of Episerver Commerce.
Large e-commerce projects often tend to be long and complex processes. With the goal of simplifying the project and reduce the risk for the customer Avensia developed a best-practice platform. Avensia EPICS is a product that contains optimized code with a complete integration framework to radically streamline the implementation of Episerver Commerce. The source of the product is placed on the basis of successful e-commerce projects in both the consumer and business sales such as Intersport, Bona, Lyko and Apotek Hjärtat.
"Avensia EPICS provides our customers with a more efficient analysis phase, higher quality and less time consuming projects, were much is ready from the start. Basically we have implemented all our best-practice experience in one platform", says Jörgen Bertilsson, Vice President at Avensia.
Avensia already has extensive product development expertise from its own platform Avensia Commerce Server. It is built on Microsoft technology and used by customers such as Kjell & Company, Mekonomen and Dustin. This knowledge has been fundamental in the development of Avensia EPICS, which launched this spring. For customers, this means a higher quality, reduced risk and fewer consulting hours. In other words, a better and cheaper implementation.
"All projects that Avensia started during the spring use this platform. First to launch a site on EPICS is Platekompaniet which is Norway's leading music, movies, and games retailer. The positive effects of the product is so great that we expect that all of our customers will choose Avensia EPICS in the Future", says Jörgen.
The company will continue to invest heavily in further refinement of the product and it will follow the Episerver update cycles.
