Lyko Wins – eCommerce of The Year & Best Nordic Web
Today at Episerver Awards Lyko was announced as the winner in two categories: best eCommerce and best web in the Nordics. The result from at fantastic job from both Lyko and Avensia.
Exactly one year ago, Lyko and Avensia had a meeting at Episerver Ascend in Stockholm that resulted in a new eCommerce project.
One year later the two companies are back at Episerver Ascend to receive the price as best eCommerce of the year and best Nordic website.
“We are very happy to win! This is not the result of one individual’s effort but a great cooperation between us and Avensia. The journey for us has just begun and we wish to continue and push the boundaries for commerce in the beauty industry”, explains Rickard Lyko, founder of Lyko.
eCommerce of the year was determined by a jury of experts that examined the sites from many different perspectives. Coustomer experience, integrations, personalization and performance are some of the factors that the judges looked at.
The price for best Nordic website was determined by public votes.

Avensia has won the award for best eCommerce site two times in a row now. I good sign that the company has established a leading position within the Nordic market.
