Avensia grows with new EPiServer assignments
Avensia, the largest e-commerce provider in the Nordics, is building a series of new e-commerce solutions based on Episerver Commerce. Among the ongoing projects are Bona, Apotek Hjärtat, Kontorsvaruhuset, Gullbergs, Lekolar and one of the biggest e-tailers in Norway Platekompaniet.
Avensia develops e-commerce solutions based on market-leading technology from multiple suppliers such as Microsoft, Episerver, Apptus and inRiver. But basically all solutions are about understanding the factors that control the customer’s behavior and all solutions are tailored to each individual customer. Several of Avensia’s current projects are based on Episerver Commerce, a platform that takes care of the visitors before, during and after their purchase.

The platform is suitable for all types of businesses, both B2B as well as B2C and Avensia is now working with several clients who have chosen Episerver Commerce as the base for their new e-commerce solution. One of them is Bona, who are experts in floor care. Bona's B2B site has been integrated with SAP and is used by Bona’s retailers around the world. Development of multiple consumer channels based on the same platform is being implemented.
Another current client is Lekolar, a market leader in all Nordic countries on educational aids, toys, furnishings and supplies for schools and kindergartens.

Common for most of Avensias projects is that Episerver Commerce supplements with
PIM systems, and search engine relevance e-sales from Apptus.
